RSHS: All 11th graders will be taking the ACT on Feb. 28 at school. Please try to avoid making any appointments for these students on that day, and please help us make sure they are on time, well rested, and ready for the test. This is an excellent opportunity to take the test at no charge and to have those scores sent to the colleges that your student is considering. There are so many good scholarships available that are based on ACT scores, so please encourage students to do their best.
RSHS: Our senior high teams will be playing in the District Tournament this week. RS Boys play Timbo today at 5:15pm. Lady Rebels play tomorrow at 6:30pm. The tournament will be hosted at Viola. GO REBELS!!!

RSES: 5th and 6th graders held a science fair this week. 5th grade winners are: Axel Rose- 3rd place, Mason Knapp- 2nd place, and Khloe Nichols- 1st place.
6th grade winners are: Jayden Blackwell- 3rd place, Ella Linville- 2nd place, and Madalynn Sutterfield- 1st place.

Monday, Feb. 13, is the Growth Incentive Day for Winter MAP testing. Students have received a note from their teachers notifying them if they are required to attend school that day. This applies to students in grades K-10. All 11th and 12th graders are required to attend Monday.

Due to the heavy rains, flash flooding, and some roads being washed out, some Mountain View School District buses may not be able to access some areas of regular routes tomorrow.
If you live in an area prone to flooding, please be prepared to make arrangements for alternate bus stops or transportation to school.
